Gameday Guide

Home Games

Prior to Home games, you can find many of us hanging out at our two Supporters Bars: the Ship & Anchor Pub (downtown) and Kildares down by Spruce Meadows.

The Ship & Anchor provides us with shuttle buses ($5 to reserve a spot or first come, first served) an hour before each game, with the idea we grab some food and/or a few beverages before and after the game. Buses typically leave an hour prior to match kick-off. All away matches are shown at the Ship & Anchor on their projector screen with sound, including specials for Carlsberg and Big Rock products will be available before and during each home and away match.

Foot Soldiers are found throughout the stadium on gameday, but most are found at our home as the heart of the supporters in Section 200. Most of the tickets in section 200 are owned by season ticket holders, but a few come available prior to game days via our Facebook group’s ticket exchange.

Away tickets and travel

Flying in Canada is expensive, but we are still game to show our support for the Cavs across this country as much as possible.

To get away section ticket access or more information on possible away games, contact Matthew B.

Viewing Parties

Since most of us won’t make it to every away game, the Foot Soldiers host viewing parties at our partner bars, the Ship & Anchor (downtown) and Kildares Ale House (deep southwest).

All away matches can also be viewed with a One Soccer subscription (Telus Channel 980)

You can contact the group using the provided ‘Contact Us’ field or on any of our social media handles and we’ll get you in touch with the right person

and always looking for people to get more involved, especially with our TIFO and Foot Soldiers Give Back teams

Foot Soldiers Give Back

Michael E managers our Charity and Fundraising endeavours and is always looking for help and new ideas for the group

TIFO

Derek R is our Chief Tifo Officier.  Throughout the year we’re always looking for ideas and help with tracing and painting of the designs.

Visiting Fans Section

  •  If you’re coming to Spruce Meadows as an away fan, please contact Ron Heathcott ron.heathcott@sprucemeadows.com.  He can help organize tickets for the away section and will work with security if you require any assistance getting supporters gear in the stadium.

Away fans are welcomed to join us at the Ship & Anchor pregame and take the supporters bus.  We do ask that if you have a large away group coming you let us know to ensure there’s enough room on the bus(es), as regular home fans will be let on the bus first.

There’s lots to see in Calgary and the surrounding areas when you come for an away visit.  With transit and plenty of parking available to away fans, we recommend staying somewhere more central in town rather than out by the stadium.
